We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machinery Operator/Fabricator with expertise in ABB robotic welding for our manufacturing facility located in Trussville, AL.
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of hands-on fabrication experience, proficiency in programming machinery, CAD drawing skills, and strong welding capabilities, both manual and robotic.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain ABB robotic welding equipment efficiently and effectively.
Perform hands-on fabrication tasks using various power transmission equipment components.
Program machinery for optimal performance and productivity.
Create and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure adherence to project requirements.
Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet industry standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve any machinery or welding issues as they arise.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
Proven experience in hands-on fabrication with expertise in (x, y, z) skills (specific skills tailored to the company's needs).
Proficiency in programming machinery and CAD drawing.
Strong welding skills with experience in both manual and robot welding operations.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Previous experience with ABB robotic welding systems.
Certification in welding techniques (e.
