Summary:
This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service and teamwork; Will work alongside the oral surgeon to complete the patient schedule each day, including coordinating the back-office staff to accomplish all back-office work.
Will assist with surgeries and IV sedations.
Will coordinate implant cases, implant supplies.
Ability to communicate with the patients, parents, and practice employees, schedule appointments, and relay information to practice employees will be necessary.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Greets and welcomes patients in person and via phone.
Assists in surgeries and IV sedations Cross train to understand front office responsibilities Schedules appointments as needed by Office Manager Performs patient check-in and check-out if needed by Office Manager.
Communicates with patients, parents, guardians, and visitors.
Distributes and collects new patient paperwork.
Updates and enters patient information into practice management system.
Sets up new patient files.
Enters data using dental practice management software.
Communicates with patients regarding scheduling options.
Distributes requested patient information.
Confirms patient appointments if needed.
Reschedules appointments when necessary.
Attends and participates in team meetings.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Performs sterilization and repackaging of instruments.
Performs room turnover set up and break down.
Implant case coordination including supplies, guides, equipment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Computer skills required:
Practice management software, Denticon Other skills required:
o Strong communication skills.
o Team player.
o Attention to detail and thoroughness.
o Good interpersonal skills.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
