1K a year 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago Owens Landscape Corporation is searching for a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Administrator to join its growing team.
This role will coordinate various administrative aspects of landscape construction projects from initiation to completion.
This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of construction processes, exceptional project management abilities, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible role typically working 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
Review and analyze contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
Ensure contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements, company policies, and project specifications.
Coordinate contract execution, including obtaining necessary approvals and signatures.
Facilitate communication and coordinate project-related activities between the parties involved.
Review and process pay applications.
Verify the accuracy of payment requests against contractual agreements, work completed, and project progress.
Obtains required certificates of insurance Facilitate the acquisition of necessary permits and licenses for construction projects.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and permits.
Review and process change orders submitted by client Prepare reports and summaries as needed.
Train to be subject matter expert in ASPIRE Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, business administration, or a related field is preferred; high school diploma is required.
8 years of experience as an Administrator or Coordinator on commercial construction projects.
Familiar with various types of pay application processes Knowledge of construction contracts, contract management, and legal requirements.
Familiarity with general construction practices, including permit acquisition and insurance management.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in using construction project management software and tools.
Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in managing documentation and records.
