Assistant Teachers also must develop partnerships with parents in order to engage and encourage parent participation.
Essential Functions Ability to maintain classroom control Maintain a safe and healthy classroom Uphold confidentiality Be prepared to take on the role of lead teacher when needed Daily Tasks Build relationships with parents and staff Provide a safe and clean environment for the students Assist the lead teacher with student supervision in the classroom, common areas and playground Actively engage in classroom activities Assist the lead teacher with classroom control Distribute projects and assignments to each student?s folder Assist in the completion of reports as needed (health, incident, accident, daily) Weekly Tasks Make copies of classroom materials Inventory each student?s cubby for items needed (clothes, diaper, wipes, etc) Assist the lead teacher with lesson plans as needed Sanitize cots Check classroom equipment and materials to ensure they are in good repair Help resolve issues or concerns with parents as they arise-know when to involve the front office administration Monthly Tasks Laminate teaching materials as needed Assist the lead teacher in updating classroom d cor to reflect lessons Assist the lead teacher in developing projects/crafts for the month Quarterly Tasks Perform student evaluations Work Parent?s Night Out (2 per year) Abilities Decision Making Leadership Ethical Conduct Teamwork.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
