The Claims Consolidation Manager plays a critical role in our Claims Department by utilizing their claims billing, medical records, and training knowledge to ensure a unified working relationship with team members and team leaders.
A successful candidate must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and manage changing priorities and a heavy workload.
This position is responsible for supporting and overseeing the NaphCare Consolidation team that works with our RRMB population.
This is not a remote position.
This position will be at the corporate office with regular office hours.

Position
Responsibilities:
Analyze reports and review internal audits to ensure benchmarks are met.
Handle escalations with consolidation team members to ensure a resolution is achieved.
Appropriately communicate information both verbally and in writing to clients, team members, and supervisors.
Communicate with other departments as needed to ensure claims are received and processed timely for invoicing.
Train new employees and coordinate ongoing training for current team members to ensure all NaphCare processes and job responsibilities are followed.
Delegate tasks to the team appropriately and provide support to the team members.
Manage shared inboxes and coordinate time off requests and coverage.
Review authorization and medical records in order to pursue claims for patients.
Utilize expert medical terminology knowledge to review medical records and authorization scenarios.
Contact providers to pursue claims for all authorizations.
Demonstrate an ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and multitask while promoting efficiency and effectiveness within daily workload.
Exhibit a high comfort level in working with large volumes of data.
Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and a commitment to customer service throughout the claims process.
Additional duties and specific projects as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Associate's Degree or higher or equivalent work experience.
Two years of recent experience in claims processing, medical record review, and/or an applicable medical billing environment.
Previous experience in a management or leadership position required.
Expert knowledge of medical terminology, medical billing and an ability to analyze medical records.
Specific experience working with UBs and 1500s is necessary to be successful within this position.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including a strong foundation in Microsoft Excel is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment while demonstrating professionalism at all times.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
