Overview:
The Enviornmental Engineer Intern will assist with the various projects in the Environmental department.
Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local rules and regulations (CWA, CAA, RCRA, DOT) with or without reasonable accommodations Prepare regulatory submissions (TRI, Tier II, etc.
)Conduct/track regulatory inspections (SWPPP, SPCC, Hazardous Waste, etc.
)Direct training efforts on environmental programs to company employees on all shiftsCompile, interpret, and maintain operational plans and data required by state and federal permitsCollect field data (SWPPP and waste samples, etc.
)Implementing and maintaining Environmental Management System (EMS)Assist in continuous improvement of EMS and site specific plans (pollution prevention, contingency planning, etc.
)Participate in EMS and compliance audits, track and or correct findings from auditsCoordinate internal audits, review, track findings from auditsManage projects including coordination with contractors and vendors
Qualifications:
Pursuant a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field, Engineering preferredExcellent communication skills; ability to communicate to all levels of an organizationProficiency with computer tools and computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent interpersonal skills, detail oriented, and time management skillsPositive attitude and self-motivatedSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyStrong administrative skillsAbout the Company:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
